This Gastrolith is from a Dinosaurs gastrointestinal tract. These stones are retained in the muscular gizzard and were used to grind food in animals who lacked suitable grinding teeth.

Such stones are identified by ensuring all three of the following are true: Firstly, the stone is unlike the rock found in its geological vicinity; Secondly, the stones are both rounded and polished as they turned and rolled inside the dinosaur; and Thirdly, the stones were found with the fossils of the dinosaur which ingested it. This provides enough evidence to clarify that these are genuine stomach stones.

Measurements are as accurate as possible, though be aware measuring precise dimensions can be difficult from irregular shaped items.
