A very good example of late 19th or early 20th century seating, probably being Edwardian era.
The chair is is very good order, being stable and without worm. It exhibits natural patination and age old wear in all the right places typical with normal use.
The seat pad is tanned leather and has been replaced in the past, though the original wooden former has been used. 

All in all a genuine period item to enhance either period or contemporary homes.
