or martial arts fanatics. Nagamaki was composed by me, which makes it virtually impossible to find another identical copy to compose I used :

- New long handle covered with leather braid in red lacquer color

- New parts with a nature motif, seen in the photo

- A used blade adding a pinch of uniqueness to it

- A used old tsuba adding a piece of history and an uncommon look to the sword (the tsuba is over 15 years old)

I was planning to add a habaki but the blade was too wide :)

Nagamaki is a Samurai Sword, used against infantry as well as cavalry. Particularly popular during the Kamakura period (1185-1333), A characteristic of Nagamaki swords is the long handle compared to the blade, in some cases the handle can measure up to the length of the overall blade.
The sword is well balanced, its weight is only 1KG, suitable for training cutting power
