Comedy triple. 'Barbershop' (2003) is a feel-good tale about a Chicago barbershop. Calvin (Ice-Cube) is a would-be entrepreneur with big plans - and running his family's barbershop isn't one of them. But when he impulsively sells the shop to a shady loan shark, he soon realises just how important the neighbourhood salon is to him - and just how far he'll go to get it back. 'Beauty Shop' (2005) features an all-star cast including Alicia Silverstone, Andie MacDowell and Kevin Bacon. Hairstylist Gina (Queen Latifah) is a long way from the barbershop and has made a name for herself at a posh salon with her cutting edge hairstyles. But when her egotistical boss, Jorge (Bacon), takes credit for her work, she buys a rundown salon of her own full of employees and customers more interested in speaking their minds that getting a cut. 'Taxi' (2004) is a loose comic remake of the 1990s French film trilogy written by Luc Besson. Queen Latifah stars as Belle Williams, New York's fastest (and flashest) cab driver. However, her real dream is to be a racing driver, an ambition she is well on her way to realising - until bumbling cop Andy Washburn (Jimmy Fallon) and a gang of Brazilian bank robbers led by the beautiful Vanessa (supermodel Gisele Bundchen) get in her way...
