Tested with 4 light bulbs. The 2-light switch setting, lights the 2 bulbs in the middle; the 4-light setting lights all 4. I don't know the wattage rating of the unit. The rubber piece by the screw, has come off and still has some sticky on it (see pics 7 and 8). The box is in nice shape with a couple of small dings on top, and closes well. The box measures about 10 3/4" across, 4 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" deep. The unit with box weighs 3 pounds and 4 ounces.
