The KBS documentary "Asian Corridor in Heaven" will be adapted into a silver screen version. It will be the first TV documentary to be produced into a film. The Korean Broadcasting System will introduce the big-screen version of "Asian Corridor in Heaven" at the 4th annual "KBS Premier Film Festival", which will be held from August 28 to September 3. KBS plans to adapt more TV programs into films in the future for theater screenings. The term "Asian Corridor in Heaven" refers to an ancient trade route that preceded the Silk Road by 200 years. KBS received numerous awards, including the Korean Broadcasting Award and the Baeksang Arts Award, for being the first broadcasting station in the world to produce a documentary on this historic trade route. KBS has edited the six-part documentary into a 65-minute documentary for the big screen.
