A Sand Painting Painted in December 1978 with the painters’ reference hand written note (Holy man walking in beauty) on the back of the clock. It has a Heavy Duty Quartz movement yet with a interesting Mechanical Balance Pendulum internally. Runs on a C- cell battery. We installed a new set of 'Maltese' Fire Fighter Shield hands.  Measures appx. 12 inches high by 6 inches across and about 2 inches deep.

I've always wanted a mechanical cuckoo clock since I was a small kid. Still remember I pointed one out to my folks as we were waiting for a bus in front of a clock-maker's shop 4 decades ago. Unfortunately, my folks are of the practical no-nonsense stock. I am so happy to finally buying one of my own now. This is just such a lovely clock! The shop included a very helpful set-up guide and some background information on cuckoo clocks with the package. I highly recommend this shop!
