Jesus reminds us when we forget, strengthens us when we grow weary, and motivates us to act out of love instead of personal gain when we hesitate.

The Crucifixion represents the ultimate sacrifice and a gift from God to humankind. Due to the repeated sins and broken covenants of humans, the only suitable atonement was the sacrifice of God's own son, symbolically referred to as "the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world." By willingly undergoing trial and accepting the penalty of death, Jesus atoned for our faults and satisfied our sins. This means that through Jesus' selfless action, God could forgive and wipe away the sins of humanity.

The death of Jesus exemplified the love of Christ for all people, and at the moment of his Crucifixion, the depth and breadth of God's love became evident.
