This Baby Panda was born in Swarovski’s Silver Crystal, Endangered Species collection then moving over to the Rare Encounters collection before finally retiring in 2006 with her mother. I also have the Mother Panda available so if you don’t want to be completely heartless by separating a mother and baby, I will offer a discount on both; just send me a message. This Baby Panda is very special and not just because it’s a baby but because the Baby and Mother Panda were the first pieces to use so much black colored crystal which had previously been reserved for eyes and noses. To pull this off so that the black didn’t show through the clear, a mirrored coating was used on the black crystal pieces. The faceting of the clear body accentuated by the black mirrored finish pieces really make this Panda sparkle, which can be seen in the different look in the pictures just by using a flash on a couple. The Swarovski Swan logo is imprinted on the bottom of one of the back paws. The Baby Panda is a great piece to add to your collection as it marks a change in Swarovski’s approach to their Silver Crystal figures with the addition of so much black. This is even more impressive when you factor in how small this piece is.  It also makes a great piece for the collector, bear lover, or new mom in your life as well as for that special someone who likes to sit around and chew on mother nature. This Baby Panda is BNIB, with certificate and has only been out for her photo-shoot.
