"Henry Ludwig “Hank” Borowy (1916-2004) is one of two Major League pitchers to win ten games for two different teams in one season when he went 10-5 with the New York Yankees and 11-2 for the Chicago Cubs in 1945. He was named The Sporting News 1945 National League Pitcher of the year. After signing with the Yankees in 1939, Hank won ten or more games in his first six seasons earning him an All-Star Game selection and consideration three times for the American League’s Most Valuable Player award. He also had two more ten plus win seasons. During his ten-year career, Borowy pitched for the Yankees (1942-1945), the Chicago Cubs (1945-1948), the Philadelphia Phillies (1949-1950), the Pittsburgh Pirates (1950) and the Detroit Tigers (1950-1951). He is the last Cubs pitcher to win a World Series game when he beat the Tigers in Game 6 of the 1945 World Series, but the Cubs lost in Game 7. He did, however, win a World Series in 1943 with the Yankees. Hank Borowy finished his career with a 108-82 record, 214 starts, 53 games finished, 94 complete games, 16 shutouts, seven saves, 690 strikeouts and a 3.50 career ERA in 314 games.(Reference: PSACARD)"

Shipping
We ship by USPS mail only unless special arrangements are made. We ship the next business day after payment is made/cleared. Weekends and holidays are not business days.
Please make sure that Paypal and have your correct address and PO box if necessary. If you are an international client, please make sure we have a valid address for you in English to avoid shipping delays. We only ship to verified confirmed addresses.
INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS: Please note that delivery times are ESTIMATES. First class international mail can take 2-6 weeks for delivery depending on delays in customs. There is very limited tracking on first class air mail. PRIORITY MAIL international does include tracking and insurance. It is more expensive, but is the only option for shipping on items over 4 pounds or over $50 in value.
Terms of Sale
All sales are allowed a 30 day return policy. We refund the purchase price only, not the shipping, unless we have made an error. There is a 10% restocking charge applied to returns that will be deducted from your refund. Please ask questions prior to bidding.
