This is a set of (5) ornaments made and marked as West Germany, made by Goesch in the 1950's. Each ornament is great condition, some darkening of the white mica snow, some loss of paint due to handling over the years.  Each ornament reflects the manger scene, which is the true and only meaning of Christmas!
