A starry-eyed teenager (Allie MacDonald) wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a Broadway diva; but instead, she's stuck working in the kitchen of her step-father's (Meat Loaf) snobby performing arts camp. Determined to change her destiny, she sneaks in to audition for the summer showcase landing the leading role. However, just as rehersals begin, blood starts to spill, and Camilla finds herself terrorized by a homicidal masked killer.

If you liked 'Repo!, the Genetic Opera', 'Cannibal! the Musical' or 'Phantom of the Paradise' then you're gonna love this musical-slasher-comedy. I liked the way most of the music was upbeat and giddy until the slasher scenes where the music turns to death metal and the light gets dark. This is exactly what Argento did in his 'Opera' with the music.
