Although not popular in his day, St. Thomas Aquinas produced momentous summations of the facts of faith and knowledge.  His great work, 'Summa Theologiae', constitutes history's most complete system of Christian philosophy.  St. Thomas offered proofs of the existence of God and set limits to the power of reason.
