HUCKLEBERRY DOLL
Country Flower Lady Tall Figurine

Huckleberry Tree/ Doll series

Created, Hand Sewn and Hand Painted by

Jaqueline Baird, Artist

Hand-signed by Ms. Baird, in blue ink to the back of the neck.

Charming, early 1920s-1940s time period clothed flower lady, with detailed painted face features, including well-conceived striking blue eyes, wearing full-length linen under-pants; pointed-toed green cloth boots; a high-waisted, sleeve-cuffed, full-length buckram-style, green-plaid and tan dress; a cross-shouldered green-felt long flower sack sprouting three cheery stiff-cloth painted flowers on curled wire stems; and a 1920s style violet felt cap-hat with felt-layered decorations to one side above the rim.

The 16.5 inches high doll figurine is secured by a removable circular clasp at the waist, discreetly hidden under the dress, and hangs, as if standing on a wood base with a lovely mahogany finish.

The original printed and folded collectible card states this is a signed handmade artist piece, and offers Huckleberry & artist information.

Artisan designed with hand-painted face, hands, and flowers, with original designed early country garden attire.

17 inches high and 15 ounces in weight, including the stand.

An impressive piece of doll figurine artistry.

Fine 16" tall face-painted, brown bobbed hair lady figure from the Huckleberry Doll series, in a tan and light-green plaid linen country-style full length dress, green-cloth boots, a green felt shoulder sack, and a violet felt cap with attached adornment, holding three large flowers on curly stiff-wires, with the doll held up to standing position on a round mahogany-wood colored base; with hand ink signature to the back of the neck by Jaqueline Baird, printed Huckleberry Tree folding informational card still attached to the original string that is sewn through the back of the dress.

Great keepsake collectible gift.
