Floyd Caves "Babe" Herman (1903 –1987) was best known for his several seasons with the Brooklyn Robins, later the Brooklyn Dodgers, now the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"Babe" Herman was a noted power hitter, holding many current records. He hit over .300 (including .393 in 1930) for nine of his nearly 20 years in Major League Baseball.

He was also a below average fielder leading the league in errors 1927-1929.
