Item description for Genuine Lapis Earrings - cobalt blue 14k gold-filled or sterling dangle drop

Beautiful, sparkly Lapis Lazuli teardrop briolettes are wire-wrapped and hung from handmade ear wires. All metal used is 14k Gold-Filled.

These Lapis are superb, with great shine and color, about 10mm long (average 4.75 carats each) - see the third photo for size comparison to a pencil eraser. They are a gorgeous saturated blue, with a nice amount of glittering pyrite inclusions.

These earrings make a great gift for a September birthday, as Lapis is commonly used as a substitute birthstone (Sapphire being the official September birthstone).

OPTIONS:
• 14K Yellow Gold-Filled is the default; however rose gold-filled, white gold-filled, sterling silver, Argentium silver, or Fine Silver, or oxidized silver are all availalbe - just let me know if you prefer one of those! (see below)
• Note that my white gold-filled is a soft warm white, not a bright white, and it DOES contain nickel - it can only be shipped within the USA as it has not been tested to comply with the import standards for other countries.
• Sterling silver will oxidize over time; Argentium and Fine silver are tarnish-resistant (NOT proof!); Fine Silver stays VERY soft, but is better for some people as it is less reactive.
• Leverback ear wires are available (in sterling or 14k yellow gold-filled only) for an additional $4 - contact me for a custom listing if you would like this option.
