A few years back I used to be able to set up a coupon for say a customer who made a purchase from me and give the coupon code to the buyer in their package along with the discount.
It just does not seem like this is able to be set up anymore for individual people?
It looks like all coupons have to be published other than for if we want to have customers automatically get sent a coupon code via email after they leave feedback.
Is this right?
And I’m not understanding the token thing related to coupons…
Thanks.

Hi Sharon!
Great questions! You can still create an individual coupon code. Type in a code like FUN for example and then the amount such as 10 percent. Then, click on the Save all of my changes big green button at the bottom of the screen. Voila your coupon code will be saved and a created date will appear. You can then let your customer know what the name of the coupon code is without having it published for everyone.
You can also click the Send this coupon as a gift to buyers who leave feedback box and it will send the code to those that leave feedback, also without having to publish the coupon.
Lastly, as a seller you could have a bigger discount like 40% off, but in order for a buyer to be able to use the code you create it will cost them the amount of tokens you are charging for it. The cost is a bit steep as Bonanza keeps half and you get half. If you charge 100 tokens(which takes 10 days to earn by collecting tokens daily) you only get 50.
Hope that helps answer your questions.
Best wishes,
Becky
