Hi I am not yet a seller. I dO not plan on selling regularly long term. I am moving soon, down-sizing, and selling personal items. Limited time means I cannot read the FAQs for hours, already wasted a lot of time trying to find answers. My [URL removed]
1) How can I find out what the cost is to ME every time someone pays me using PP?
2) Can I sell local pick-up only? Where I don’t have to ship – like for heavy item, like furniture?
3) What else would I need to know if this is worth my time? I am selling on Craigslist, but as they only let you list in one category in one area, I get very l immured responses (i.e., I live in Jersey bordering 2 of CL’s regions. So technically, I really need to list in both and am not allowed. I am selling antique China. Would like to list it in both collectibles and housewives and they won’t allow it). I thought I would get much more exposure using Bonanza (I am totally new to this site), but have some heavier items that I would not ship.
Thanks

Hi Kimi, Welcome to Bonanza! To answer your [URL removed]
1. You will be charged a Final Value Fee whenever you make a sale on Bonanza. This fee depends on which advertising level you select (3.5% or 9%) whenever you create a Seller Account. At our 9% level, your items will automatically be sent to Google Shopping. Depending on how much advertising money we spend on your item, then you can be charged anywhere up to 9%. Our other advertising levels are 13%, 19%, and 30%.
2. Bonanza does not support local pickup only listings, so we generally do not recommend them. You can certainly still list them on our site by selecting the “Details are in the item description” shipping setting. The issue with local pickup only listings is that there is not proof of delivery. If a buyer files a claim with PayPal saying the item was not delivered, you would not have a tracking number to prove the item was received by the buyer. So to keep yourself fully protected, we recommend not offering those types of listings. They might be better suited for craigslist.org or offerup.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us at support@bonanza.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:

- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
